The Harriot globe pendant light by Liqui Contracts is a classic globe light that evokes the glamour of past decades while remaining a timeless favourite for commercial lighting. Particularly on trend at the moment, the white glass pendant lights are suitable for any number of hospitality settings as well as offices and retail environments. The globe ceiling light can be used in a variety ways: either individually or set in a row, such as above a bar or seating area. Alternatively, the glass ball lights can be hung in a cluster at different heights to create a statement piece, such as in a public space.
The white glass used for the modern lamp shades of the Harriot globe pendant light is sometimes referred to as opal or opalescent glass because of its semi-translucent appearance. It gives our globe lights a beautiful glow which made us think of the moon, which is why we named these hanging lights ‘Harriot’. This is after Thomas Harriot, who was apparently the first person to draw a map of the moon by plotting its surface through a telescope. The Harriot glass pendant lights are made to order in both gloss and matt finishes according to your preference.
Liqui Contracts design and manufacture a range of contemporary lighting for commercial interiors. Our Harriot globe pendant light is one of several different styles of ceiling light that we offer and it could be used in conjunction with our Whittington lights for variation of form. In addition to our modern lighting, we also create contemporary sustainable furniture that is contract grade using quality materials with a high-end finish.
The finishes shown below are standard finishes, if you wish to specify any other finish, then please contact us to discuss your requirements.
