Liqui® has always strived to make eco-friendly products, and sustainability is at the heart of everything we create. We have a sustainable design approach to manufacture which means that we always consider the materials we use and the method of production. As well as only using sustainable timber products, our environmentally friendly ethos is also reflected in the fact that Liqui’s main workshop and design studios are entirely run on 100% renewable energy.
For us, it’s not just the obvious things that can make a difference to sustainability. We believe that the longevity of a product is probably the most important factor. We not only use as many sustainable materials as we can, but we also make things to last; because considering their durability, naturally leads to more sustainable design. In-built obsolescence is anathema to us; wasting both materials and energy. We want our products to last – hopefully, they’ll become the antiques of the future.
